2000 Aniocha North youths to storm streets for PDP candidates on Friday


Not less than 2000 youths drawn from Aniocha North local government area of Delta state have been billed to storm the streets of the local government on Friday for a road show to solicit support for all PDP candidates in the 2019 general elections.

In a chat with Emeraldng.com, the PDP youth leader in the local government, Hon. Richard Anonyei, said the youths in the area have finalized arrangement to storm the streets and present the candidates of the PDP to the people of the local government area.

Anonyei said the rally is to canvass votes for all PDP candidates ranging from the presidency, governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, and the state house of assembly, insisting that no other party in the nation can meet the need of Nigerians other than the PDP.

He said the rally will be done across the local government covering Idumuje Ugboko to Onicha Ugbo through to Issele Uku where it will berth at the palace of the Obi of Issele Uku.

According to him, the rally will kick off at the PDP secretariat in Issele Uku from where the 2000 youths will move through the towns in the local government area soliciting votes for the PDP candidates in the February 16 and March election. He said the road show will commence at 10am on Friday January 11, 2019.
