2019: Atiku makes THREE BIG promises to south south, south east as his campaign team hits Asaba

The presidential candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Thursday promised to reactivate all the sea ports abandoned in the state if elected pesident of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the February 16 preaidential elections.

Atiku, who said his wife is from the south east, said he would complete the second Niger Bridge which President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has not showed commitment to complete.

Atiku made these promises during the PDP presidential rally in Delta state which held at the Stephen Keshi Township Stadium in Asaba,the Delta state capital.

He also promised to ensure the completion of all federal government infrastructures abandoned in the state by current APC government as punishment for the state’s strong affiliation to PDP.

While commending citizens of the state for their resolute allegiance to the PDP since inception of current democratic dispensation, he urged them to continue in that faith bearing in mind that all existing infrastructures in the state were all made possible by PDP

While assuring that the state would benefit immensely from his regime if voted as president of Nigeria for their faithfulness and loyalty, the president hopeful assured that he would ensure the completion of the second Niger bridge rather than play politics with it as currently done by APC whose campaign promises have failed woefully.

He classified Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the best governor the country has ever produced and urged all Deltans to vote PDP all through in all the elections, adding that the numerous awards won by Governor Okowa were as a result of his excellent performance within and outside the state.

The national chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, urged Deltans to vote Atiku who has demonstrated his wealth of experience in all his endeavours especially at the town hall meeting interview televised on Wednesday, adding that his performance distinguished him as a digital president that can be engaged by youths, women and all Nigerians.

He warned Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies against conniving with APC to rig the elections except they are spurring for war and urged Deltans to ensure they vote for PDP, stand to defend their votes as all votes must count.

He said that PDP has the right man needed for the job of presidency, full of energy and vigour, who would be the chief commander of the armed forces, taking responsibilities rather than run a government of cabalism.

The campaign director general of the PDP, senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki recalled the numerous failed promises of the APC, saying that PDP has presented to them the man who has the wealth of experience to make Nigeria work again in person of Atiku who has what it take to create jobs, respect for rule of law, adding that no investor invest in country where the leader has no respect for rule of law.

Earlier In his welcome address, the State chairman of PDP, Barr. Kingsley Esiso assured Atiku that Delta is fully PDP State and pledged the full support of the State in voting massively for him and all PDP candidates, adding that they everyone is aware, how the APC mismanage the country to become the world headquarter of poverty, promotion of impunity, nepotism and lack of regard for rule of law.

Continuing, he said the State has decided to join hands with him Atiku in his resolve to move the country forward. “We have decided to be atikulated with him and make the country work again”, he added.

Also speaking on behalf of the three senatorial districts in Delta, Chief Benjamin Elue, Prof. Sam Oyovbaire and Senator Stella Omu pledged their resolve to vote Atiku as the only man that can make Nigeria work again, create more jobs, build roads and other infrastructural developments in the State adding that he has always been in support of the regions agitation for resource control.
