The leadership of artisans in Delta state have pledged their unalloyed support for the governorship ambition of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta state.
Governor Okowa is seeking a second term under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the election which will be held on March 2, 2019 in the state.
As part of show of solidarity for the governor, the state executive of the artisans visited three local government areas of Ukwuani, Ndokwa east and Ndokwa west where they sensitized their members on the need to vote for Governor Okowa in the elections.
Secretary of the artisans, who led the executives into the three local governments, Uchecukwu Akabude, said Governor Okowa should be supported to emerge governor in the next elections, citing his projects he has executed in the state and his empowerment programmes.
In a similar vein, Akabude expressed gratitude to Mr. Harold Monu, who supported the executives financially to make the sensitization a huge success in the three local government areas.
He said Mr. Monu personally made it possible for the artisans to visit the three local governments, saying Monu has been very helpful to the artisans in the state.
He used the opportunity to extol the leadership qualities of the artisan state chairman, Ifeanyi Abanum who is the pioneer chairman of artisans in Delta state.
