Aniocha North council chairman’s wife gives school uniforms, sandals, others to pupils

It was excitement galore on Wednesday in Ojiokpa primary school, Ugboba community in Aniocha North local government area of Delta state as wife of Aniocha North chairman, Princess Adaobi Oseme, gave over 100 pupils new school uniforms, sandals and stockings.

Princess  Adaobi, who presented the new school uniforms and other items to the pupils free, said the gesture was to contribute to humanity and educational wellbeing of the children in her little way.

According to her, I have looked around and seen some of these children’s school uniforms, they are not in good shape.

“In my little way, I decided to do something so that these children can look good as students rather than wearing torn cloths to school which indirectly can affecting their learning. So, I have started with school today, and I will try to reach other schools, so that Aniocha North pupils will be exceptional in dressing and others.”

She said that doing this is not only touching life but complementing the effort of state government especially the programme of governor’s wife, Dame Edith Okowa towards the good people of Delta state.

The chairman’s wife commended the council chairman, Chuks Oseme, for the opportunity to touch lives, applauding the 05 initiative programme of Her Excellency Dame Okowa.

The pupils who were happily showered prayers on Princess Adaobi could not hold back their joys over the kind gesture done on them.
