Brace up for change as Igbuzor charges Deltans on true essence of Christmas

As Christians all over the world celebrate Christmas, the grand patron of Delta Rescue Mission, Dr. Otive Igbuzor, has charged Deltans to brace up for change and imbibe the true essence of Christmas in a press release made over the weekend in his Emonu-Orogun residence, Ughelli North local government area of Delta state.

The release signed by Barr. M.A. Mukoro, director general of Delta Rescue Mission, stated that the message of hope became necessary because Deltans, rather than being hopeful and cheerful this yuletide, have regrettably become hopeless and forlorn because of the degeneration of governance and development in Delta state due to criminal mis-governance foisted on the people by the People’s Democratic Party since 1999.

Dr. Igbuzor further tasked Deltans as they celebrate that, the true essence of Christmas as stated in Matthew 1:21: “And she shall bring forth a son and you shall call His name Jesus (Saviour, Rescuer), for He shall save (rescue) His People from their sin.”

W}hile explaining further, the renowned cleric, who is also the general overseer of Palace of Priests Assembly, stated that “just as Jesus Christ came to rescue the world from sin by sacrificing his life for humanity, Deltans need to emulate Him by making the needed sacrifice of rejecting any transient offer or inducement by the PDP for immediate gratification and embrace the true and lasting change promised by the APC which has the capacity to rescue them from the misrule foisted on them by shenanigans”.

He therefore enjoined Deltans to accept the offer of rescue by Delta Rescue Mission with both hands by re-electing Buhari/Osinbajo for a second tenure, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru for governor and all other APC candidates across board, as the 2019 General Election approaches, “which will usher them into the Next Level of transformation that Deltans so desperately need”.
