Delta 2019: Former Delta health commissioner, Azinge, predicts 99.9 percent victory for PDP

Former commissioner for health in Delta state, Dr. Nicholas Azinge, has said that following the turnout of Delta people to the campaigns of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, there is assurance that the party will have a landslide victory in the forth coming general elections in the state.

Dr. Azinge, who is one of the party ward leaders in Oshimili south local government area of the state, told journalists that in all the local governments visited so far for the campaigns, the turnout was massive, noting that it was a very good signal that Governor Okowa is highly needed by the people of the state.

The former commissioner, who spoke shortly after the PDP rally at Oshimili south arcade in Asaba, explained that Okowa has done wonderfully well for the people of OShimili south and Delta state, adding that his good works will speak for him in the forth coming elections.

Speaking after the rally, he said: “This is Oshimili south, you can see a massive turnout for the governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa. It shows there is no competition in Oshimili south and that it is PDP all the way.

“We believe in Oshimili south that there is no other party but PDP. From what we are seeing today, there is no other party in Oshimili south. If every other local government can perform like this, we are sure of 99.1percent vote for the governor. We should leave one percent for them if they can even get it.

“We are not afraid of the opposition in Delta. They are not making any effort, they are not campaigning. I see them to be feeling defeated already. They are not even making any move to see where they can capture for their party.

“Despite the opposition is there, we are entering everywhere so that we can achieve 100 percent vote for the PDP. We are giving victory to all PDP candidates from the presidency to the house of assembly. It is a full 5/5 for Oshimili south.”
