Delta info commissioner, Ukah, expresses worry over poor performance of card readers, poor man-power

Delta state commissioner for information, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah, has expressed worries over the poor functioning of card readers.

Beside the poor functioning of the card readers, the commissioner also expressed disatisfaction with the personnel handling the card readers.

The commissioner, who voted at 10.10am, observed that despite the poor functioning card readers, the place is peaceful and the accreditation started started on a good note.

He said: “So far, its been nice, peaceful and no cause for alarm.”

He said people in the queue should be allowed to vote even if it exceeds the 2pm deadline for voting.

He said he would be very happy if the peaceful process continues till the election ends.
