The Director General of a frontline Buhari Support Group, Delta Rescue Mission for Buhari, also known as DRM4PMB, Martins Mukoro Esq. has, on Friday, December 28, 2018 given reasons for the set-up of the group at the epoch making flag off of the President Muhammadu Buhari re-election campaign in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.
His charge to representatives of the group who were selected to attend the flag off, stated that the group was formed to “save Nigeria from the re-emergence of political buccaneers and leeches whose only means of survival is the financial blood of Nigeria and to ensure the re-emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari in the saddle of leadership in Nigeria.”
He therefore enjoined Deltans to “say “No” to the return of PDP”, a development “which can only guarantee them a move into the Next Level of transformation that Deltans so desperately need”.
In a related development, President Muhammadu Buhari stated that he has delivered on his campaign promises to Nigerians which was hinged on a tripod of the economy, security and the fight against corruption, while assuring them that he will do better if re-elected.
He made this known during his speech to a mammoth crowd of enthusiastic and excited Party faithfuls from the South-South who thronged the Stadium to receive him during the flag off, assuring Nigerians that just as “we are arresting corrupt people and prosecuting them”, they are also working hard to open more space for employment opportunities, while Boko Haram will be “a thing of the past” if reelected.
