Don’t post unverified stories on social media, Niger Delta activist warns

A human rights and environmental activist, Comrade Sheriff Mulade, has called on all social media crusaders and activists  to  be cautious and shun lip service activism, adding that lip service destroys the integrity of activists in the country.

Comrade Mulade enjoined social media posters to verify their facts before going to post on social media in order not to malign some personalities with their post for their selfish interest or as well  impress some individuals and group.

He noted that  a lot of comrades activities are against the ethics of comradeship because of “eye services to perceived individuals and groups,” he stated.

The Warri South-West Delta born environmentalist cum politician, Comrade Mulade,  however expressed delight over the awareness created by activities of seasoned and professional activists in the Niger Delta by exposing the deprivation and long neglect of the area by the  federal government and for  championing development to the region.
