Ex-militant leader makes statement on Atiku’s trip to America, mocks Buhari’s government

Eshanekpe Israel, a former ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, now major supporter of the former vice president and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has mocked the federal government over Atiku’s successful trip to the United States of America.

He stated this in a telephone chat with our correspondent on Friday when the news broke out that the Adamawa – born politician has finally, against all odds, landed in Washington D.C. without molestation as against what he described as the FG’s blackmail and plan to use the authorities in the US to harass Mr. Atiku.

Pointedly, the Ex-militant, also known as Akpodoro, accused the minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, of championing the course of the vicious campaign of calumny against an innocent person in the name of crass politics.

“Shame on Lai Mohammed the US visit by the former vice president has vindicated himself and hurl shame on those who lied that he can’t enter the U.S.as if entering that country is the end of life.

Akpodoro further stressed that Mr Atiku didn’t sneak into that country as the same FG is speculating but he is billed to address American Chambers of Commerce and also to meet with senior officials of Donald Trump’s government, a development he noted has ended a decade of falsehood.

He called on Nigerians not to take President Buhari’s administration serious, adding that the government was lacking in honesty on account of how it has failed Nigerians and the best thing to do was to vote out this crop of leadership.

As Nigerians can see on daily basis, Akpodoro stated, that the All Progressives Congress, APC administration was at its wits end and therefore there is an urgent need for the electorates too boot out the broom party.

The former warlord called on the people of the South-South to come out enmass and vote Mr Abubakar in the February poll for a better life without which he said, Nigerians will die of hunger and starvation in the streets if Buhari win again.
