HEARTY BIRTHDAY CHEERS TO AN ICON OF UNITY AND EPITOME OF MODERN DEMOCRACY IN NIGERIA, FORMER PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN

Happy Birthday to Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the greatest, most honourable, visionary and patriotic leader ever produced in this geographical entity code named Nigeria.

Indeed you are not just an average but obviously an exceptional gentleman and statesman that God created specially for the purpose of salvaging and emancipating our Dear Country from the shackles of poverty, extremism, high handedness and dictatorship.

The enormous sacrifices you made via your selfless and open style of leadership has been the root of the unity and freedom of speech once enjoyed by our dear country Nigeria before your exit from ooffice in 2015.

It is today very conspicuous that God’s divine elevation upon you from your humble beginning in that small fishing settlement called Otuoke, in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa state, to the most highly exalted political office in our land, was indeed due to the grace and humility with which you exercised every sacred trust of leadership that was bestowed on you right from childhood.

You are today an inspiration not just to the Ijaw, Niger Deltan, Nigerian and African youths but also every young leader in the whole world.

Sir, in you, our youths could now see visibly how God raises those who humble themselves despite their family or societal backgrounds, by rather resorting to personal hard-work in order to build themselves in preparation for taking due advantage of any opportunity that comes their way.

The indelible footprint you left behind as president and commander-in-chief, will forever be remembered in the annals of our democratic history as a nation, especially the zeal and determination with which you pursued the education of our teeming youths all over the country, as a way of building the youths personal capacity and ability before delving into active politics and service.

This is the only vital and veritable way of delivering the needed effective and quality service to the people in any realm of leadership especially for those youths who would want to aspire to attain the great feet which you had attained in all ramifications.

It is on the premise of the above that we the National Executive Council and members of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide ably led by Barr. Oweilaemi Pereotubo wish to felicitate with you, our mentor, as you celebrate this special day.

Happy Birthday Mr. President

Signed for the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide

Daniel Dasimaka

Spokesman, IYC
