The newly installed Ogene of Abala Kingdom in Ndokwa east local government area of Delta state, Chief Enechukwu Felix Aduba, has assured that he will use his position to ensure peace, justice and development in Abala clan.
He made the pledged on the occasion of the grand finale of his installation as the Oghene of Abala kingdom. His installation renewed the Oghene stool, several years after the demise of the last Oghene of Abala from the custodians in Ugada Quarters, Abala Uno.
Chief Aduba said that as one of the High Chiefs in the Clan, he was disposed to work with others and relevant authorities to project Abala, stressing that what the people need now is peace and development.
The Oghene called on youths to shun violence and criminal tendencies and key into the current campaign for peace and development.
According to him, unless the community is peaceful, the expected development cannot come, stressing that the4 government can only patronize communities that are peaceful.
He used the opportunity to call on the state Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, to consider development projects alike roads, general hospital and electricity for Abala clan.
Chief Aduba thanked the people of Abala for honouring him with their presence throughout the duration of the installation programmes, assuring that he will offer responsible leadership as the Oghene of Abala Kingdom.
