For saying that families of farmers who were affected in the Jos mass killings will be giving money, Vice President yemi Osibanjo has earned the ire of femi Fani Kayode, one of the most voceiferous critics of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Vice President Osibanjo was quoted as saying that families of farmers who were affected in the Jos crisis would be giving money out of the N10billion approved by the federal government for the rehabilitation of the destroyed communities in the state.
“The farmer’s family that were killed by Fulanis will be given money. If your family member was affected, you qualify for the money,” Osibanjo was quoted to have said.
The statement enraged FFK who felt insulted that money could be used too appease families who lost their loved ones. Hence, he said: “Yemi Osinbajo is a very sick man, a very sick man indeed.”
