PDP Primaries: Mutu floors Ex- deputy Speaker Ganagana, Tuodolo, wins Bomadi/Patani constituency ticket

Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu, aka Mr. Empowerment, the incumbent member representing Bomadi/Patani in the Federal House of Representatives has won the PDP ticket in the just concluded PDP primaries in Bomadi town of Delta State.

Chairman of electoral panel, Patrick Ukah, while announcing the results, stated that while 258 delegates were accredited, Mutu got 135 votes while Ganagana 105 votes and Tuodolo 18 votes to come distance third in the election.

In his acceptance speech, Mutu commended the party delegates for the trust they bestowed on him and promised to do more if elected in the general elections.

Addressing the press, Mutu attributed his victory to hard work and thanked his supporters for believing in him always just as he promised to empower more youths, women and the aged in the constituency if elected in the general elections.
