Former Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to go home and rest following his incessant embarrassment to the party and the people of Nigeria.
Fayose is speaking on the strength of the two recent embarrassing actions of the president in both Lokoja capital of Kogi state and Warri, the oil city of Delta state.
In Lokoja, President Buhari was captured on camera falling but was aided back to his feet by his aides who could easily be identified in the short video that was posted by Channels television.
In Warri, the president, who went to flag off the 2019 campaigns in the oil city, was also seen to have made one of the biggest mistakes of his life.
While presenting the party flag to his party’s governorship candidate, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, the president was reported to have said I have the honour to present our flag to the presidential candidate of our party.
Emeraldng.com learnt that one of his aides standing by told him it was the gubernatorial candidate, again, he said the senatorial candidate before he could thereafter said governotorial candidate.
Reacting to the development, Fayose twitted: “Presenting flag to the Presidential candidate of APC in Delta State? Is it that those promoting this man do not have shame? Embarrassing outing on NTA yesterday, another embarrassment in Delta state today, shouldn’t this man be allowed to go home and rest?”
