With the hard-hit economy, many are in need of little help, most especially people in the rural areas. This undoubtedly may have led to the birth of Ukawuilu Chinedu Helping Hand Foundation (UCHHF), which is poised to bringing succor and help to vulnerable people in the society.
This year, more shelves will be filled at St. Theresa Secondary school, Obowo LGA of Imo state as Ukawuilu Chinedu Helping Hand Foundation (UCHHF) distributed over 1,500 exercise books, School bags, detergents and paid the school fees of students Wednesday, June 13 to brighten their stay in school and lighten the financial burden on parents.
It’s in the on-going effort to alleviate the dearth of school supplies in Imo state, the Foundation embarked on a project to distribute school materials; this is the first phase of the project with over 1500 exercise books and other items distributed.
The foundation which is on a mission to make a difference in the world and empower others have in its structure selfless young motivational speakers, entrepreneurs, ambassadors determined to putting smiles on faces of orphans and vulnerable people in the society.
Interestingly, Chinedu Ukawuilu is a graduate of Imo State university from the department of Nutrition and dietetics in the faculty of Health Science.
St. Theresa Secondary school, Obowo was very pleased to receive the donation, the Principal Rev. Fr. Peter Ekwedilem described the ceremony as a special occasion for the celebration of a man with a large heart and a giving spirit, saying that kindness has made the staff and students of the School to smile through the provision of well- made new books for students.
